The vacancy
Role Purpose
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious actuary with strong technical and consultancy skills to join the Insurance Consulting team at a senior level and play a leading role in expanding the scope and capability of the Life Consulting team’s proposition.
The successful candidate will engage in client relationships from day one and will play a key role in growing the business through the acquisition of new clients. You will benefit from very supportive and inclusive relationships across the team.
The role will include a wide variety of actuarial assignments across the business within the life market-place. This is a client-facing role and will require some business development time or pre-sales work. The role can be home or office based and will likely involve some UK travel.
This job description sets out the scope of a Chief Actuary at Broadstone, together with the main duties of the post. It does not include or define all tasks which the post holder may be expected to carry out. Duties may vary from time to time without changing the nature of the post or the level of responsibility. The post holder may also be required to carry out any other duties as required and which might be suitable.
